DMZ tour
Most underrated and amazing thing we did.
Package was about $50/person for 8-10 hours of shuttle transport, multiple DMZ stops, free time, and an excellent English-speaking guide.

We spent a whole day there and could have spent another.
Hit the library beyond anything else.
Spent many hours and could have spent more.
Rich history plus areas for art from other countries.

Nice area to go around.
Make sure to arrive before it closes in the evening.

Right next to the palace; 14th-century village with traditional houses / buildings.
Korean spa specialty.
Visit if you can; can be a little pricey.
Amazing nightlife with many places to go.
Text me for specific recs.
Did not have enough time, but heard it was a spot to go.
Did not go, but looked cool from pictures.
Affordable Chinese place close to the National Museum.
Great for vegetarians and non-vegetarians.
Near Gyeongbokgung Palace.
Nice coffee / pastry shop with a chill environment and old radios upstairs.
KBBQ place we went to.
Not sure you can miss with KBBQ here, but we enjoyed this enough to recommend it.
Chain, I believe, but it was our Korean fried chicken spot.
Everything was fantastic.
Best area to stay in our opinion: close enough to everything, safe enough, affordable, bustling, and clean.
We stayed in one and recommend it as spacious and affordable.
We stuck to these because they were easiest.
Exists, but seemed counterintuitive.
Since it was very cold, we minimized time outside when we could.
