Southern area seems best.

Massive park with walking trails, open fields, and culture throughout.
Olympiapark
One of my favorite parks in the world.
Former 1972 Olympics site converted into sports, cherry blossoms, beer garden, walking trails, stadiums, and student housing to explore.
BMW Museum
In Olympiapark and worth researching.
I didn't go but really should have because everyone I knew who had been recommended it.
Hirschgarten
On the way to Schlosspark Nymphenburg.
Nice walk and large beer garden, but otherwise nothing you need to see.
Schlosspark Nymphenburg
Easy to get lost, with lots of silence and nature.
Beautiful palace and area to walk through.
Botanical garden
Connected north of Schlosspark Nymphenburg and also gorgeous.
Beer and Oktoberfest Museum
Didn't go, but heard great things.
Chinesischer Garten
Didn't go but had it bookmarked; worth researching.
East of the river
I wouldn't say anything is super worth seeing there, but it is a nice area to walk around.

Nice small coffee shop to get work done.
Sesam Falafel
One of the most highly rated spots, recommended by tourists and locals, and very affordable.

Was not happy about the food here generally.
Put me on spots you enjoy when you visit; I'd love a better selection next time.
